📝 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1

Boil water, cool to 88°C (cold extraction style)

  2. 2

    Use standard (non-inverted) Aeropress position

  3. 3

Add 12g coarsely ground light roast coffee

  4. 4

Pour 100g water for extended bloom, wait 60 seconds

  5. 5

Gently add remaining 200g water over 30 seconds

  6. 6

DO NOT stir - let gravity and diffusion do the work

  7. 7

Wait full 5 minutes total time (from first pour)

  8. 8

Press very gently over 60 seconds - should feel almost no resistance

  9. 9

Result: 250ml+ of tea-like, super clean coffee

  10. 10

Let cool to 60°C before tasting for best flavor

💡 Pro Tips

  • This breaks all normal rules - embrace the experiment!
  • Works best with naturally processed Ethiopian or Kenyan beans
  • Lower temp + long time = delicate extraction, no bitterness
  • Will taste weak at first, but complexity emerges as it cools
